What the Companion tracks
Classic auction houses, scanned by the players on them
TBC Classic, MoP Classic, and Season of Discovery prices stop waiting for scheduled refreshes: every accepted scan lands as listing-level data for that realm and faction as soon as the companion picks it up.
The Black Market, on the record
No official feed for the Black Market Auction House exists anywhere. Companion users change that — hot items and closing bids, charted over time.
Your gold, bags, and auctions — charted
Every synced character’s gold, inventory value (priced by the same engine as the Inventory Price Check), and own auctions, tracked over time on your profile.
Community data with a bouncer
One accepted scan per realm window, outlier rejection, and a per-account reputation score keep bad uploads out of your charts.
You decide what ships
Market scans and character sync are separate consent switches. Both start off, and you can revoke either at any time. Uploads run over a device link you approve from your account.
Runs quiet, updates itself
A small desktop app for Windows and macOS that watches the game’s saved data and does the uploading an addon can’t do alone.
