How the Inventory Price Check works
Paste your inventory export and the tool values every sellable item against the latest Auction House data for the realm you pick. It reads prices only — it never buys, sells, or changes anything in your game.
Three steps from bags to value
Paste your export
Run the BootyBayBroker addon in-game and paste its JSON export above.
Confirm the market context
Region, version, realm, and faction are preselected — change any before pricing.
Check prices
Value every sellable item against the latest snapshot, then sort or filter.
What gets valued
The total counts only the unbound, sellable quantity of each stack; soulbound and no-value items still show in the table but are left out of the figure. Every priced row carries its unit price, line total, source, and snapshot date.
Supported versions and freshness
Retail and TBC Classic refresh hourly, Season of Discovery about twice a day, and MoP Classic daily — so an older date on a Season of Discovery or MoP valuation is expected, not stale. Each item is priced against the freshest snapshot available for your realm.
Frequently asked questions
Where do the prices come from?
The same Auction House data as the rest of BootyBayBroker: the Blizzard API for Retail, and TradeSkillMaster for the Classic editions. Prices never come from your export — it only tells the tool which items and quantities you hold.
What gets valued?
The sellable, unbound quantity of each stack. Soulbound and no-value items still appear in the table but are excluded from the total, so the headline number is what your bags and bank are worth to sell.
Why are some items unpriced?
A "No current data" item has no recent listings in the latest snapshot for your realm — common for slow-moving goods, and for the editions that collect less often (see Supported versions and freshness). It stays in the table but does not add to the total until fresh listings exist.
Is it free?
Yes — completely free, with no paid tiers. BootyBayBroker is a market-data tool for the WoW economy, like a stock ticker for your inventory.
