Why track consumables — and how prices move on a weekly rhythm

Every raid week runs on consumables. A full clear asks each player to show up flasked, fed, and stocked with combat potions, and the bill for that adds up fast across a roster. Booty Bay Broker is a free World of Warcraft economy tool — a price tracker, not a gold-making guide — and this page collects the essential raid consumables for every supported edition in one curated directory so you can see what each one costs before you commit to a shopping trip. Pick any consumable below and you land on its item page, where the Auction House price, the recent history chart, and the per-realm market data already wait for you.

The reason to track consumables rather than buy them on raid night is simple: their prices move on a predictable weekly rhythm. Flasks and feast reagents tend to climb in the day or two before a raid reset, as the rest of the server stocks up at the same time, then settle back afterwards. By opening the history chart on a flask or a stack of potions a few days ahead, you can spot the cheapest day to buy and avoid the reset-night premium. The tracker does the watching; you just read the trend and choose your moment.

The numbers reflect how each economy actually moves. Retail covers the current Midnight expansion and refreshes hourly from the Blizzard Game Data API. The Classic editions are sourced from TradeSkillMaster (TSM) data — The Burning Crusade Classic refreshes hourly, Season of Discovery refreshes about twice a day, and Mists of Pandaria Classic refreshes daily. A flask that persists through death is worth pre-buying for the whole lockout, while combat potions are spent per pull and burn through a raider’s bags quickly, so it pays to watch their per-unit price separately. Reagents matter too: when the herb behind a flask or feast climbs, the finished consumable usually follows a step behind.
